Code Red: Code Red is the city's method of notifying residents of emergencies within the city.  It has the ability to send text messages (standard rates apply) to cellular phones and phone calls to all U.S. numbers.  To get notified of emergencies, sign up for Code Red.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA):  Is the federal government's agency responsible for coordinating emergency management nation-wide.  FEMA also maintains a great list of potential supplies for individuals, families and businesses in the event of an emergency.

Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) Public Information page:  It has state specific information for Texas residents.  

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS):  DPS is the parent agency for TDEM.  

Anderson County Office of Emergency Management:  The Anderson County Emergency Management Coordinator represents the county judge in matters of emergency management.  They also have a Facebook page.
